The simple beauty of life is not so different from that of a kaleidoscope. With every turn of a kaleidoscope the pieces fall into place perfectly. The colors and shapes arrange themselves in beautiful combinations, unique to themselves. It is the beauty that always leaves the viewer wanting more. Life presents us with situations where blessings are abundant and goodness is everywhere. Wanting more of life’s beauty is what drives us forward. When we let life fall into place, we can bear witness to the blessings that present themselves.
Knowing there is always something beautiful and new to look forward to is exciting. There will never be two identical arrangements or moments. Some views are more breath-taking than others, but that doesn’t stop us from continuing to rotate the tube and discovering more. Every choice we make, is like the turn of a kaleidoscope. If you don’t like what is in front of you now make a change, turn the tube. Even the slightest alteration can open your eyes to what wasn’t there a moment ago. Moments are fleeting, and situations are a string of moments. Remind yourself that everything in life is temporary and focus on the good parts. Each turn results in new beauty, different than yesterday, and not able to be duplicated tomorrow.
Trust that what you see before you is how life is supposed to be. Savor the view. Take in the whole experience. There’s no turning back, there’s only now. Find the beauty in the present. Look at life through a kaleidoscope.
